Jewish Parents Institute: A Jewish Sunday School your kids will really love!
Registration for fall enrollment is now being accepted.
JPI introduces families to Jewish culture and history, and it explores the underlying ethical and moral values inberent in Jewish history.

For 62 years, JPI has provided an evolving educational program for children and parents.

Classes are held at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, D. Dan & Betty Kahn Building on the Eugene & Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus on Sunday mornings.

JPI features vibrant holiday celebrations that merge the traditions and symbols of the past with the realities of today.

Our curriculum features holidays and Bible stories, early history of the Jews, modern Israel and Jews in the Diaspora, Jews in America, the Jewish lifecycle, post-biblical history, the Holocaust, the creation of the State of Israel, and Israel as a modern nation.

Our b'nai mitzvah program combines a community-related work project with a philosophical study of the Torah and Talmud, culminating in a rite of passage ceremony shared by the students, their families and guests.
